I started playing football when I was 5 years old. I joined with my twin brother and was originally told girls couldn’t play.
I kept going and played at Chadderton Park Fc from aged 5-17, receiving awards such as the league player (u9s-17s) of year two years in a row and a special recognition award for my time and service at the club.
I later joined Crompton Fc for two years where I captained the team to become divisional winners and reach a cup final. I’m now into my second season at Hyde United where I’ve really found my love for football and have developed as a footballer and person.
